Journal Policies
1. Originality
The manuscript submitted by the authors to the Journal of Radars should be an original manuscript, an unpublished work, and not considered for publication elsewhere (Publishing ethics statement). Journal of Radars does not permit plagiarism, including the reproduction of an author's own published work without proper citation in whole or in part. Manuscripts submitted to the Journal will be checked for originality by the Editorial office using a checking software (CNKI - JOURNAL ARTICLE COOPERATION).
2. Peer review
All manuscripts submitted to the Journal undergo a rigorous and thorough peer review, typically lasting 30 to 90 days, prior to acceptance and publication.
3. Open access
All articles published in Journal of Radars are available online for free under a Creative Commons CC by copyright agreement (Open access policy). The journal is supported by Article Processing Charge (APC), the specific standard is as follows: 300 yuan per page. Details about CC BY can be found at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/.
4. Conflict of interest
Journal of Radars policy requires that each author reveals any financial interests or connections, direct or indirect, or other situations that might raise the question of bias in the work reported or the conclusions, implications, or opinions stated including pertinent commercial or other sources of funding for the individual author(s) or for the associated department(s) or organization(s), personal relationships, or direct academic competition. In addition, financial competing interests, such as awards, pending patents, and ownership of stock shares/options, along with non-financial competing interests, such as advisory board members, related consulting services, and personal relationships, are also required to be disclosed by authors.
5. Disclaimer
The opinions expressed in the Journal of Radars are those of the authors and contributors, and do not necessarily reflect those of the editors, the editorial board, Science Press, or the organization to which the authors are affiliated.
6. Copyright license
Under a Creative Commons license, the authors of the Journal of Radars retain the copyright to their published articles, allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction, provided appropriate citations are made.
The author granted the publisher permission to publish the article and identified the "Journal of Radars Editorial Board" as the original publisher. The author also grants any third party the right to use, distribute, and reproduce the article in any media, provided it is properly cited. Articles published in 2015 and before are still subject to previous copyright agreements.
Guidelines for submission to the Journal of Radars
1. How to Submit
Submit your article online from the Author Center of the Journal of Radars (https://radars.ac.cn). If you cannot access the Journal due to technical faults, you can send your article to radars@aircas.ac.cn.
2. Manuscript Requirements
2.1 Manuscript authors should abide by the Publishing Ethics Statement of the Journal, accept the Open Access Policy, sign the License Agreement of the Journal (see "Download Center" on the website), and upload it to the Radar Journal website during the submission process.
2.2 The paper should be of strong originality, and the review should have considerable breadth, depth, and foresight.
2.3 The manuscript should be unclassified, and submit a confidentiality review form (sealed by the Confidentiality Committee Office).
2.4 When submitting the manuscript, please give the column of the manuscript in the author's message (please choose from the permanent column of the Journal of Radars, see the journal website "Download Center"), and give the title of the topic for the special submission.
2.5 The manuscript should be typeset into a word document with single column, single side, word 5 and single space. Before the manuscript is accepted, there is no special requirement on the format of the paper, as long as it is suitable for peers to read, so as to avoid spending unnecessary time.
3. Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Radars undergo a rigorous peer-review process, which is double-blind, prior to acceptance and publication.
The editorial department first reviews the manuscript to see if it meets the basic requirements of the journal. For the reviewed manuscripts, the executive editor will designate a responsible chief editor according to its theme to conduct preliminary review on the innovation and research value of the manuscripts; After the preliminary review, four to six experts in the same research direction will conduct peer review; The editorial department will submit the review opinions of the four to six reviewers to the responsible chief editor, who will conduct the final review and decide whether to reject the manuscript, revise the review, or hire the manuscript. For the "revised and rereviewed" manuscripts, the authors should make careful revisions, submit revision instructions, and reply to the review opinions of each review expert one by one.
The whole review process takes an average of 60 days. The editorial department tracks the review progress of manuscripts in real time to ensure timely review, and informs the authors of the review and handling opinions of each link at the first time. 4. Publication costs
This publication is an open access publication. After your manuscript is accepted, you will be charged the Article Publishing Charge (APC), which is 300 yuan per page, and should be paid by the author, his/her institution and the project funded by the fund. If the author does not have any project funds to pay for the page fee, he/she can apply for the page fee remission. The corresponding author of the paper should submit the application to the official email address of the editorial department.
Manuscript processing in the Journal of Radars
The average review time of articles in Journal of Radars is 60 days and the average publication time is 37 days. The process of manuscript processing is as follows.
1. Rechecking: The editorial office use "Academic Misconduct Literature Check (AMLC) (https://check.cnki.net/amlc2)" manuscripts for rechecking detection, word repetition rate no more than 10%.
2. Preliminary review: The editorial office will conduct preliminary review on the qualified manuscripts, including whether they meet the basic requirements of the Journal of Radars and the coverage scope.
3. Peer review: Journal of Radars designates a responsible chief editor for each paper. After the responsible chief editor passes the initial review, the peer review will be conducted by 4-6 reviewers in the same research direction.
4. Publication: The accepted articles go through the process of editing, typesetting, proofreading, etc., and finally complete the network publication and print publication.
