IEEE International Conference on Signal, Information and Data Processing 2019 Was Held in Chongqing

IEEE International Conference on Signal, Information and Data Processing 2019 was opened in Chongqing on December 11, 2019. The conference was co-sponsored by the IEEE Beijing Section and the Beijing Institute of Technology. The conference accepted 690 manuscripts, and about 800 representatives from home and abroad attended the conference.


Wang Zhijie, Deputy Member of the Standing Committee of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Management Committee, Professor Sarkar, Vice Chairman of IEEE, Academician Huang Wei, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, and Vice President Long Teng of Beijing Institute of Technology at the opening ceremony. Academician Zhang Jun sent a video speech. The opening ceremony of the conference was chaired by Professor Yang Xiaopeng of BIT.

Professor Ge Wang from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Professor Long Teng from BIT, Professor Xuemin Lin from University of New South Wales, Australia, and Professor Motoyuki Sato from Tohoku University made four keynote speeches after the opening ceremony on the morning of November 11.

Professor Teng Long from BIT gave a keynote speech: On-board Signal and Information Processing for Remote Sensing Satellites


Professor Xuemin Lin from University of New South Wales, Australia gave a keynote speech: Big Graph Processing: Applications, Challenges, and Advances 


Professor Motoyuki Sato of Tohoku University gave a keynote speech: Signal processing for Near Range Radar

The conference also arranged 4 conference theme reports on the 12th and 13th. In addition, the conference arranged 6 tutorials, 35 technical special oral sessions, and poster sessions in 16 directions.

The editorial department of the Journal of Radars participated in this conference and provided relevant materials for the participants.
