Journal of Radars is pleased to announce a Special Issue entitled "Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Technology". The aim of this Special issue is to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Chinese SAR, and to integrate the latest SAR progress and conceive the next generation SAR technology in China. The special issue will be published in three issues with accepted more than 40 articles from 18 institutions, including Aerospace Information Research Institute, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xidian University, Beihang University, Beijing Institute of Technology, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, etc. The papers of this issue present the understanding and the progress of SAR technology made by Chinese researchers. Importantly, reviews in the special issue introduce the key of SAR technology and its further development from different perspectives.
